The Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security (JHCHS) developed a “Model Clean Indoor Air Act.” Direct statements include:

* More than 90% of transmissions of most airborne respiratory diseases and most exposures to air pollutants occur from breathing indoor air.

* Indoor air quality” (IAQ) means the degree to which indoor air is free of excessive levels of contaminants injurious to human health.

* Improving indoor air quality (IAQ) will diminish routine exposure to airborne diseases, limit outbreaks or epidemics, and lower risks of noninfectious respiratory conditions like asthma that affect the health of millions each year.

* Improving IAQ is also cost-effective.

S3’s solutions have been meticulously designed and engineered to provide the level of indoor air quality, disinfection, and decontamination meet the exact requirements and stringent standards of hospitals and the healthcare industry where the health and safety of individuals are paramount considerations. With a focus on enhancing energy efficiency and reducing operational cost of HVAC and mechanical systems, we deliver "Medical Grade Indoor Air Quality™ (MG-IAQ).”

S3 is enthusiastic to share the findings of two studies, conducted by esteemed institutions, which substantiate the efficacy of our unique approach in delivering medical-grade indoor air quality across various indoor environments. These studies provide empirical evidence of the effectiveness of our solutions in enhancing indoor air quality and mitigating health risks.

The first study (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9088580/ accepted 25 March 2022) clearly states the important role of non-thermal plasma for meeting a pandemic such as the COVID19 pandemic head-on. The study details how non-thermal plasma impacts microbial (pathogens) and fomites both in the air and on surfaces. The second study provides further evidence, both corroborating and expanding the importance of non-thermal plasma in treating and/or preventing viral infection and associated diseases (https://www.frontiersin.org/articles/10.3389/fphy.2021.683118/full  Published 01 June 2021)

Our dedication to delivering Medical Grade Indoor Air Quality™ has led us to conduct an exhaustive examination of every facet of HVAC systems and the essential building mechanics related to air handling systems. Our objective has been to identify and implement the most effective, efficient, and cost-effective methods to achieve this exceptional standard of indoor air quality.
